As you may know, Florida has some of
the best beaches in the world. Its
not surprising since the Sunshine
State is nestled between the
Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of
Mexico providing coastline – some
1200 miles which offers sun
worshippers many types of beach
experiences. |

No matter where you
are in Florida,
there is a beach
just a short drive
away – from the
Panhandle to the
Keys and every place
in-between.

Several of these beaches
routinely receive awards by
various rating
organizations. The waters
are generally warm compared
to the rest of the US. Surf
tends to be higher on the
Atlantic coast with
relatively little surf on
the Gulf coast. Surf
temperature is also warmer
on the Gulf coast throughout
the year. |
